Our community-based programs provide a gateway to health education and services for immigrants and other medically underserved minorities in New York City and beyond. We also conduct groundbreaking, community-engaged research to address cancer disparities and socioeconomic determinants of health outcomes among underserved populations. Working closely with Dr. Francesca Gany, IHCD Service Chief, you will be responsible for the research and project management across Dr. Gany's investigator-initiated trials within our Taxi Network Initiative, to address varying health concerns faced by NYC taxi drivers. He/she will collaborate with MSK researchers to work on antibody validation strategies, plan and carry out experiments, assess experimental outcomes, and assist with manuscript preparation. In partnership with Core colleagues, the senior research scientist will plan and teach sample preparation and in situ molecular detection courses for the MSK research community. Additionally, he/she will assist in maintaining and organizing experimental records, managing supplies and equipment, and user training and billing. This system is required by local and federal regulation and based on their applicable regulations and guidance on radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and dispensing.- Supervise manufacturing operations and production staff duties to assure safe and reliable clinical production of radiopharmaceutical agents.- Be responsible for the (1) generation, review, submission, and implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure's (SOP's), (2) generation of regulatory submissions and associated documentation, and (3) novel radiopharmaceutical manufacturing process development and validation.You need:- Doctorate in Pharmacy from an NABP accredited School of Pharmacy. Increased emphasis on completion of the college level Expository Writing, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Infectious Disease Management.- Working knowledge of FDA regulations and guidance pertaining to manufacture of various types of pharmaceuticals and/or radiopharmaceuticals.
