Research Project Associate - U54 CCNY-MSK Partnership for Cancer Research In June 2002, The City College of New York (CCNY) and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) established a partnership based on mutual cancer research and training objectives. The partnership is funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). MSK Kids is applying next-generation sequencing techniques to characterize the spectrum of germline and tumor genetic mutations. These genomic data are guiding screening, risk reduction, therapeutics and cascade testing in families.The Computational Biologist will provide bioinformatics support in the development of next-generation sequencing applications to characterize the spectrum and clinical significance of genetic mutations detected in germline samples with the integration of other sequencing data and biomarkers. At MSK, we’re running one of the largest clinical trials programs for cancer in the country, and at any time we are conducting hundreds of clinical trials to improve cancer care.  We have a Research Regulatory Associate (RRA) opportunity with the Regional Research Department. As an integral member of the research team, you will perform all tasks associated with the regulatory management of research protocols within MSK. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring we are supporting the study start up and regulatory oversight of newly opening clinical trials in the regional care network. You will also ensure the proper conduct of clinical research by developing, revising and maintaining accurate protocol tools at all times. You will:- Work closely with management to assist in all aspects of regulatory oversight for trials in the service, from start-up through study closeout, and protocols in development. - Work with various department counterparts to ensure review of protocol data collection requirements and ensure compatibility with the resources available at the regional care network outpatient locations- Support study start up for newly opening studies in the regional care network by working with Clinical Research Manager, PAC (protocol activation core), and study teams across all departments and services to ensure regulatory compliance in a timely manner- House all CVs, medical licenses, certifications and ensure they are current.- Manage and coordinate study initiation requirements for new studies and coordinate study initiation visits, site qualification visits, and support study teams and sponsors through the regional feasibility process- Meet with various study and sponsor counterparts to review and maintain accuracy of regional research portfolio information on a recurring basis- Participate in special projects and task forces as determined by management.- Utilize appropriate methodologies to collect patient/human subject information for a research project, database, and/or protocol.- Generate reports to all necessary parties on the progress of the research project, database, or protocol, as needed.- Assist in handling departmental data. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of our Content Strategy team, helping to drive business goals, through digital content including on MSK’s website, mskcc.org. You will: - Act as point person from content strategy perspective on content development initiatives, including website redesigns and optimizations, providing point of view throughout in meetings- Act as project manager, using tracking software to ensure projects are on track and deliverables communicated including creation of content maps, requirements briefs, meeting summaries and needed documentation- Partner with leaders and teams (e.g. social and digital media,  SEO, patient and professional education, internal/physician communications, patient portal) on content distribution plans - Capture and analyze metrics to produce key insights for future direction along with preparing decks to update core internal partners- Support development of strategies, including channel selection & distribution, for promoting content created by various stakeholders- Perform research, including internal and competitive analysis, to identify content gaps and make recommendations to Director, Digital Content Strategy and Associate Director, Digital Content Strategy- Strategize innovative ways to achieve a variety of business goals with existing and new content- Work with partners around the institution and externally (agencies) to update and maintain sections of our site- Write and edit copy as needed for various digital projects and audiences- Help champion content strategy around the organization You have: - Experience in content ideation, creation of various types (emails, webpages, articles and infographics) working and providing direction to internal and agency partners- Deep understanding of digital content analytics and measurement, specifically Google Analytics and digital content channels in general- Understanding of content audits, as well as experience looking at competitive landscapes and coming up with actionable recommendations- Knowledgeable about SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices- A collaborative spirit, solution-oriented approach along with stellar communication skills and ability to connect across leadership- 2-4 years working in digital content strategy leading projects from end to end, including setting KPIs and measuring success- Content Management Systems and/or website migration experience a plus  BenefitsCompetitive compensation packages | Sick Time |Generous Vacation+ 12 holidays to recharge & refuel| Internal Career Mobility & Performance Consulting | Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA & Dependent Care|403b Retirement Savings Plan Match|Tuition Reimbursement |Parental Leave & Adoption Assistance |Commuter Spending Account |Fitness Discounts &Wellness Program | Resource Networks| Life Insurance & Disability | We believe in communication, openness, and thinking beyond your 8-hour day @ MSK.
