The responsibilities will include clinical expertise in patient care, clinical research, and teaching/ training. The position will take advantage of the InterMEL study, an international consortium effort that has generated a large primary melanoma tissue resource and multi-modal tumor-profiling (DNA sequencing, DNA methylation, RNA-seq, multiplexed tissue imaging, and spatial transcriptomics). An example of a potential project relates to identifying driver mutations within and across oncogenic pathways, and their association with epigenomic, transcriptomic output, and tumor microenvironment characteristics. The candidate will develop statistical methodologies using the InterMEL data resource and work with a highly interdisciplinary group of investigators toward understanding cancer biology and disease progression. The position will be co-mentored by Drs. The Department of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and successful individual with a background in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Working in our State of the Art Urgent Care Center, the clinician will be evaluating and managing acutely ill patients with complications of their malignancy, cancer care or chronic health conditions. Open round the clock, year round, the provider will determine whether hospitalization, discharge, or observation care is appropriate. The provider is part of a dedicated team operating at our Manhattan campus and may rotate to any of our Regional Sites with smaller facilities. He/She will also participate in providing night, weekend, holiday, and backup coverage. He/She may be involved in video triage, remote care, as well as supervision of a team of Advanced Practice Providers at each site. The Radiation Dosimetry Core and MRI Physics group at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) offer a postdoctoral research fellow or research associate position in MRI-guided radiotherapy. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Grace Tang, a leader in the development of MLC tracking techniques.  The main goal of the position is to develop real-time MRI-guided radiotherapy technology via MLC tracking on the MR-linac system for tumors affected by continuous motion. The work involves building machine control interface, experimental validations, and clinical feasibility testing..   The Department of Medical Physics consists of over eighty faculty physicists and computer scientists plus support staff working on various physical problems related to diagnosis and therapy for cancer, in partnership with radiologists, radiation oncologists, and other medical professionals. Medical Physicists in the diagnostic imaging physics track are actively engaged in several research programs that include molecular, MR and CT imaging as well as the new radionuclide therapies called theranostics. Examples include advanced MR acquisition techniques, motion correction, MR fingerprinting, artificial intelligence, and deep learning for image reconstruction in all imaging modalities. MSK is a World leader in imaging and theranostic research and supports one of the largest pre-clinical small animal core facilities in the United States that includes MR, PET, SPECT, CT, ultrasound imaging equipment that provides a conduit for the translation of experimental techniques into clinical trials. One Elekta Unity MR-linac system, 9 Varian linacs, and 2 ETHOS systems at the Manhattan Campus of MSKCC. Additional highlights include grant-funded research in quantitative MRI, hypoxia imaging, imaging drug delivery, and radionuclide dosimetry. The Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking an exceptional physician investigator and inspirational leader to serve as Head of the Division of Hematologic Malignancies. The Division of Hematologic Malignancies is comprised of over 90 faculty. Direct reports will include Service Chiefs of MSK’s Adult Bone Marrow Transplant, Cellular Therapy, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma and the Benign Hematology Services. These faculty deliver care in New York City as well as across MSK’s network that extends from Southern New Jersey to Eastern Long Island. MSK’s expertise is increasingly sought by patients beyond our local region, including internationally. Increased work on digital platforms to support this work is expanding. The Division of Hematologic Malignancies is dedicated to treating patients with the full spectrum of malignant and premalignant blood disorders. Division faculty perform nearly 600 bone marrow and stem cell transplants each year, and a rapidly growing number of patients are treated with immune effector cells. Division faculty deliver over 85,000 outpatient visits with 6,500 new patients per year. Division faculty include individuals with both wet and dry-lab based research programs dedicated to both fundamental mechanistic discovery, pharmacology, and to clinical translation. Faculty lead a portfolio of over 450 trials that include both investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies. Division faculty have led trials that resulted in many FDA approvals of new treatment strategies across the spectrum of blood cancers. They have been highly successful in attracting federal and foundation funding as well as philanthropy to support their efforts. The Division Head will have programmatic oversight and responsibility for the Hematologic Malignancy Service Chiefs and their Services. The MSKCC Department of Radiation Oncology is one of the nation’s largest.
