MSK is seeking a Bioinformatics Software Engineer to join the Computational Oncology Service in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Working in a team, the Bioinformatics Software Engineer will develop software to support leading edge, large scale research efforts in computational oncology including genomics, imaging and clinical data analysis and interpretation. Motivated by contributing meaningfully to contemporary progress in cancer research driven by advances in computing and data, we are seeking talented, highly skilled engineers with experience developing robust, enterprise level contemporary software systems. We are recruiting developers in three key areas: data analysis workflows in high performance computing systems (including cloud), database engineering, and data visualization. At MSK, we’re running one of the largest clinical trials programs for cancer in the country, and at any time we are conducting hundreds of clinical trials to improve cancer care. We are looking for a Research Regulatory Associate (RRA) to assist our Multi-Site Compliance team in our Bergen, NJ location. As an integral member of the research team, you will perform all tasks associated with the regulatory management of research protocols within MSKCC. The RRA will be responsible for ensuring MSK is audit ready at all times by maintaining up-to-date regulatory documents and regulatory files. The RRA also ensures the proper conduct of clinical research by developing, revising and maintaining accurate protocol tools at all times.You will:- Work closely with management to assist in all aspects of regulatory oversight for trials in the service, from start-up through study closeout, and protocols in development.- Assist in protocol submission, drafting of consents, reviewing protocol logistics.- Assist in audits- reviewing and collecting regulatory documents.- House all CVs, medical licenses, certifications and ensure they are current.- Participate in special projects and task forces as determined by management.- Utilize appropriate methodologies to collect patient/human subject information for a research project, database, and/or protocol.- Generate reports to all necessary parties on the progress of the research project, database, or protocol, as needed.- Assist in handling departmental data. We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work in the Genomics, Risk, and Health Decision-Making Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. The candidate will work with Dr. Jada Hamilton on several ongoing studies that examine patients’ psychological and behavioral responses to new forms of genetic testing for cancer risk and to novel approaches for delivering clinical genetics cancer care. The candidate will also assist with collaborative studies involving family communication about inherited cancer risks. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and recruiting study participants and scheduling and administering assessments.  Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for database maintenance, data entry, communicating progress and challenges, and working with the principal investigators (PIs) to analyze the study data. Lastly, the candidate will assist the research supervisor and PIs with all regulatory and administrative submissions for MSK. The candidate must have superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent organizational skills.
