Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Head of MSK Tx BridgeLabs, Drug Development 

 

We are seeking a Head, MSK Tx BridgeLabs, Drug Development to lead all antibody discovery and protein engineering activities and designation of development candidates within MSK therapeutics bridge labs. 

 

This role provides strategic and operational leadership across all MSK therapeutics bridge labs initiatives, overseeing biologics, small molecules, and emerging modalities. The Head will shape the scientific vision, drive cross-functional integration, and ensure alignment with MSK’s broader drug development goals. 

  

Role Overview 

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across all MSK therapeutics bridge labs projects, including biologics, small molecules, and emerging modalities
  • Shape the scientific vision and ensure alignment with MSK’s broader drug development goals.
  • Lead cross-functional integration of discovery, translational, and preclinical development activities.
  • Oversee antibody discovery, protein engineering, and designation of development candidates.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external CROs to ensure project success.
  • Serve as liaison between MSK therapeutics bridge labs and MSK leadership, aligning on goals and milestones.
  • Drive collaboration with clinical, regulatory, and business development teams.
  • Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide coaching, training, and career development for staff.
  • Champion high-impact therapeutic opportunities and represent MSK at scientific forums.

  

Key Qualifications:   

  • Doctorate in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or equivalent (15 years).
  • Significant drug development experience.
  • Successful leadership of multi-disciplinary drug discovery teams in an industry environment.
  • Track record of advancing therapeutic program projects from discovery through IND-enabling studies into clinical trials.

  • Visionary scientific leadership with strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
  • Proven scientific accomplishments and expertise in biologics and/or small molecule development.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial drug-discovery environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams.

  

Additional Information:  

 

Pay Range: $219,600 - $373,300 

Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday with flexibility as needed  

Location: Hybrid; 3x a week minimum in NYC
