Job Description

Role Overview:
Join our dynamic and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team at Memorial Sloan Kettering, where more than 900 NPs and PAs are transforming the future of cancer care. We’re excited to welcome a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to our Urologic Oncology Service—a role that offers the opportunity to make a real impact in outpatient settings. This position will primarily focus on conducting new patient visits for individuals with prostate cancer, using a hybrid model that combines in-person care with telemedicine. You’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team of physicians, APPs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant APP experience is required, preferably with a background in urologic oncology.
  • BLS

OR

  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • Related National NP certification
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant APP experience is required, preferably with a background in urologic oncology.
  • BLS

  • Strong decision-making skills with a track record of making timely, effective choices that drive progress
  • Comfortable navigating complex and sometimes conflicting information to inform actions
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize work in alignment with organizational goals
  • Skilled at building alignment and securing buy-in by clearly communicating priorities and perspectives
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to adjust approach and tone to meet evolving needs and circumstances

Location: Kimmel & Koch

Hours: Four 10-hour days

Pay Range: $155,500-$197,400

Reporting to: Manager, APP
