Role Overview:
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) seeks a highly qualified and experienced individual to serve as Director of the Cell Metabolism Core Facility. The successful candidate will oversee the facility’s operations, development, and strategic direction, leading the implementation of cutting-edge mass spectrometry-based metabolomics and lipidomics technologies. They will provide expert consultation to researchers, ensuring the highest quality data generation and analysis. This role requires expertise in mass spectrometry, chromatography techniques, and bioinformatics relevant to metabolomics and lipidomics. Additionally, the Director will manage the facility’s finances and human resources while aligning its mission with MSK’s strategic plan. MSK offers a dynamic and collaborative research environment spanning basic, translational, and clinical science within a multi-institutional academic community (www.ski.edu). This is a fully institution-supported faculty position.
