Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Child Life and Recreation team working in the Department of Pediatrics.

                 

MSK Kids, Memorial Sloan Kettering’s pediatric program, is the largest program in the United States dedicated to the care of children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer, immune deficiencies, and blood disorders. The Program Coordinator will lead all aspects of programs, activities, special events, and volunteer programs.

Role Overview:

  • Serve as the program representative and champion throughout MSK, collaborating with teammates across departments
  • Develop and coordinate programming activities and special events for the pediatric population
  • Serve as liaison for volunteers and community organizations, delegating responsibilities and offering support to our partners
  • Manage volunteer allocation, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs

 Key Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in event planning, education, and project coordination with the pediatric population
  • Proven leadership in group activities and pediatric programming
  • Experience managing a high-stakes, complex environment

 Core Skills:

  • Outgoing, confident, friendly & intuitive
  • Creative in your ability to solve problems
  • Excellent leadership skills, and ability to evaluate work and delegate responsibilities
  • Adaptable to new environments and changing circumstances

 Additional Information: #LI-Onsite

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, flexibility required as needed for special events 
  • Location: 1275 York Avenue, 9th Floor - 100% onsite 
  • Pay Range: $61,300 - $95,100 annually

 Reporting to the Child Life Supervisor.
