Job Description

Role Overview:

Join our dynamic team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in the Urgent Care Center (UCC) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). In this role, you will provide expert, compassionate care to patients experiencing oncologic emergencies and manage those transitioning to our short-stay Observation Unit. Collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare team members, you’ll deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while participating in patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal health outcomes. Join our team of over 900 APPs dedicated to advancing cancer care through innovation, expertise, and compassion.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • A Minimum of 2+ years of clinical RN or NP experience
  • Related National NP certification
  • BLS/ ACLS certification
  • Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experience preferred

OR

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experience preferred

Additional Information:

Location: 1275 York Ave, NY NY

Pay Range: 144K-182K

Hours: Night shift 13.5 hours shifts, 7p-8:30a 12 shifts a month; Weekend and holiday rotation is required
