Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Sr. Project Manager, Construction

Role Overview:

  • Coordinates project timelines, leads and monitors progress, and ensures stakeholders are informed throughout the construction process.
  • Maintains project files, shop drawings, submittals, logs, and ensures proper filing of applications and permits with relevant agencies.
  • Ensures contractor work complies with project scope and regulatory requirements at all levels.
  • Participates in plan development, evaluates design concepts, and conducts field surveys to assess site conditions.
  • Performs on-site inspections, tracks field progress, communicates with contractors, and ensures safety measures are implemented.
  • Assists in budget setup, monitors costs, and supports competitive bidding and contract award processes.
  • Provides mentorship, serves as a resource for complex projects, and fosters collaboration within the team.
  • Engages in continuous learning through educational programs, workshops, and industry literature to enhance skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Requires construction industry experience with a focus on field supervision and complex project management.
  • Preferred licensure in architecture or engineering, with the ability to read and analyze blueprints, floor plans, and technical renderings.
  • Knowledge of building codes and hospital construction is highly valued.
  • Strong skills in communication, scheduling, budgeting, data analysis, and information management to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, including attention to detail, time management, and meeting organization.
  • Demonstrates essential project management expertise to lead teams, oversee construction activities and manage project finances.

Core Skills:

  • Ability to oversee and coordinate construction projects, develop and manage timelines andbudgets, and ensure compliance.
  • Skilled in reading and analyzing architectural and engineering drawings/specs, floor plans, and other technical renderings.
  • Strong ability to manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage information flow between internal teams and external contacts.
  • Proficient in budgeting, cost analysis, and managing financial aspects of construction projects.
  • Capable of leading project teams, providing mentorship, and ensuring work is completed in compliance with regulations and safety standards.

  • Pay Range: $146,100.00-$241,100.00
