Job Description

Role Overview:

Be part of MSK’s innovative team of over 900 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) dedicated to transforming cancer care! We’re excited to begin onboarding APPs starting in early January 2025 across our NY and NJ sites. In this role, you'll have the unique chance to make a lasting impact on surgical oncology patients, providing compassionate care at every stage of their treatment. Although specific locations and shifts are being finalized, now is the perfect time to connect with our recruitment team and start the conversation. Join us at the forefront of cutting-edge patient care, collaborating with world-class surgeons and multidisciplinary teams

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Current New York State (NYS) and/or New Jersey State RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 3+ years of related clinical experience in an oncology environment, Surgical experience is preferred but not required

OR

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license and New Jersey State license or be qualified for state licensure
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience in an oncology environment Surgical experience is preferred but not required

Core Skills:

  • Work collaboratively with physicians and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver seamless, patient-centered care.
  • Provide expert, comprehensive care to surgical oncology patients, addressing their unique medical and psychosocial needs.
  • Manage the medical care of patients across all stages of their surgical oncology treatment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient education and clinical support initiatives, ensuring optimal care throughout every phase of the healthcare continuum.

Location: seeking APPs interested in working at NY and/or NJ MSK sites

Pay Range: 144k-182K

Reports to: Manager, APP
