• Mentor and provide feedback to junior lab members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and innovation.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external collaborators, delivering clear presentations in both technical and non-technical settings.
• Contribute to discussions on the strategic direction of the lab and support the operational goals of the genomics core.
• Think creatively to develop new methodologies and experimental approaches to advance research capabilities.

Key Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field with at least 3 years of post-doctoral experience in an academic or research setting.
• Proven experience in experimental and computational genomics, with a focus on NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) assay development.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex data to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• A proven track record in mentorship, with a strong interest in helping others succeed and providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and addressing issues efficiently and independently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic research environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.

Core Skills:
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques, especially in single-cell sequencing and genomics.
• Strong experimental design and data analysis skills.
• Ability to think critically and innovatively to solve complex biological questions.
• Effective communicator and collaborator, able to manage relationships with internal teams and external collaborators.
• A leadership mindset, with the ability to mentor and inspire others.
