Job Description

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) seeks an experienced Dental Laboratory Technician to support the Dental program with Laboratory locations at 1275 York Avenue, and its newest state-of-the-art cancer treatment center in Manhattan’s Upper East Side (74th St - David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care). These facilities offer the highest standards of comprehensive cancer care delivered by MSK oncologists, in an environment crafted to meet the outstanding needs of cancer patients and their families.

 

You are:

You will:

  • Perform basic and intermediate level prosthetic laboratory procedures.
  • Interpret dental laboratory prescriptions and prepare materials and supplies needed to accomplish related tasks.
  • Fabricate and finish high quality conventional dental prostheses and intra oral maxillofacial prostheses in a timely manner.
  • Perform emergency repairs and relines of dental and intra oral maxillofacial prostheses.
  • Conduct routine and prescribed equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate and maintain work area to a high level of cleanliness in keeping with laboratory and infection control standards.
  • Meet health and safety standards throughout daily job functions.
  • Be able to take a removable prosthodontics case from start to finish and be able to process acrylic on removable (RPD) frameworks, full dentures, all acrylic partial dentures including bending wrought wire clasps, as well as processing acrylic on a fixed implant framework.

 

You need:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2-4 years of experience in removable prosthodontics.
  • Knowledge of 3D denture scans and software are preferred

 

Pay Range $27.80-$43.08
