In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.  Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.


*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.



Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster two months after completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19.  Because vaccine-induced immunity can wane over time, MSK continues to strongly urge all staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they become eligible to maintain their protective immunity for a longer period.

Job Description

We are seeking a Radiochemistry & Molecular Imaging Probes (RMIP) Core Radiopharmacist to join our growing Radiochemistry and Molecular Imaging Sciences Service! Interested in hearing more?

Our Radiochemistry and Molecular Imaging Probes Core Facility was established to provide clinicians institution-wide with molecular imaging and radiotherapeutic agents for both clinical use and clinical research use applications.

You will:

  • Handle the clinical production and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals manufactured in compliance with the Core's established Quality Assurance System.
  • Supervise manufacturing operations and production staff duties to assure safe and reliable clinical production of radiopharmaceutical agents.
  • Be responsible for generation, review, submission, and implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure's (SOP's)
  • Generate regulatory submissions and associated documentation
  • Handle novel radiopharmaceutical manufacturing process development and validation.

You need:

  • Doctorate in Pharmacy from an NABP accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Solid understanding of FDA regulations pertaining to manufacture of various types of pharmaceuticals and/or radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Shown understanding of radiation safety regulations as well as other FDA, NRC, and New York State Board of Pharmacy regulations applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing, handling, and dispensing.
  • PET and/or Commercial Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing experience preferred.


  • Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Flexibility may be required as hours of operation are 7 AM - 6 PM
