Job Description

Reporting into the Director of Translation Informatics, we are seeking an operations and project manager within Pathology to provide oversight on various IT projects, full stack software development, informatics solutions, and act as a liaison between the business & clinical staff to identify workflow improvements.


What you'll be doing:

  • Supervises and mentors a team of analysts to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Works with leadership, informatics groups, security, and compliance to assess pathology technology needs and opportunities
  • Reviews, monitors and forecasts workflow and makes procedural recommendations to improve efficiency and staff performance
  • Design, develop and implement software tools, features/modifications, and applications
  • Mange development of status monitoring, data management systems, improvements for central lab system i.e. new functions/integrations, and oversight of QA processes
  • Handle and automate data delivery via multiple channels
  • Supports management to maintain uptime for all production systems.

Our ideal candidate...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, Bioinformatics or related field and 4-7 years of experience as a Project Manager, Technical Lead, Ops Manager
  • Agile leader able to work with a diverse technical team, capable of building positive relationships, delivering customer centric solutions, and fostering a motivating work environment
  • Knowledge of operating system concepts, databases, SDLC, and programming experience strongly preferred
