    Job Description

    Materials Management – Planning and Implementation Analyst

    We are excited to assemble a new team that leads and executes Planning and Implementation of products and equipment across the institution. The primary function of this role is to coordinate and execute processes to address new products, back orders, recalls and substitutes with our Distributors, Manufacturers and Suppliers in alignment with Materials Management goals and procedures.

    You will!

    • Assemble updates regarding new products or substitute products that need to be acquired and distributed to the facilities.
    • In collaboration with internal teams, as well as the Distributor, Supplier and Manufacturer, develop and execute an implementation plan that will ensure successful product implementation. This may include:
    • Coordinate and test products with the clinical teams
    • Plan for the depletion of old product inventory that will be replaced and bring together our storage needs
    • Understand and plan the training requirements
    • Identify the initial inventory levels and distribution plan of the new product at the facilities
    • Plan for any inventory that may reside in General Store and process back orders in a strategic manner
    • Review reports from Distributors, Suppliers and Manufacturers in a timely manner.
    • Demonstrate strong judgement on prioritizing and acting on back orders appropriately.
    • Communicate and reach out for management assistance as needed on time-critical back orders.
    • Identify acceptable product substitutes, develop roll out plans and execute the Substitute processes if needed.
    • When necessary, support Partners in the Value Analysis Committee process to request a new item that will serve as a substitute.
    • Effectively review and act on the product Recall reports that are provided by ECRI, the FDA, the Distributors and Manufacturers.
    • Communicate effectively with the Distributors/Manufacturers to understand timing of the recall. Also assess if substitute product is available.

    • Someone who has experience navigating internally and externally and has strong experience in customer/partner and supplier relationship management, process development, teamwork, communication and project management.
    • Strong, positive and engaging with the ability to handle tough situations in accordance to corporate policies.
    • Proactive and can take vague direction and deliver with quality and speed while exceeding expectations.
    • Creative thinker who can innovate and develop value opportunities for assigned responsibilities.
    • Able to effectively communicate and collaborate frequently with all internal and external teams to ensure they are updated on the implementation status.
    • Analytical and can work with IT to develop new reporting tools to communicate the status of Product Implementations

    You have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Math, Science or Engineering
    • 3-5 years experience in a professional Supply Chain Management role
    • 2-4 years of experience in Materials Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Forecasting preferred
