    Job Description

    Do you love working in a dynamic environment and are passionate about being an intricate part of a team dedicated to MSK's mission?Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity to expand upon your career in space planning? We are seeking an Associate Director to join the Facilities Planning Department here at MSK. You will play a key role working directly across all areas of the institution to lead and deliver complex space planning programs.

     

    As a department, we support the Center’s mission by identifying strategic space priorities and leading pre-design/concept development and generating space programs. We identify interdependencies among ongoing and planned facilities projects that resolve critical pathways to their successful completion and recommend mission-appropriate allocations for program expansion, development or relocations that optimize operations and institutional space utilization. We also lead and protect MSK’s commercial real estate related business needs and interests.

     

    YOU WILL:

    • Identify and handle the technologies used to collect, integrate, analyse and present space data.
    • Use data to Create insightful and actionable business information
    • Qualify and manage external vendors
    • Partner with leadership, physicians, scientists and other content experts to develop functional space programs.
    • Prepare, review and issue programming and space planning deliverables in graphic and quantitative formats from a range of source materials (including space surveys, end user interviews, functional analyses, benchmarking and other sources of information) with an emphasis onefficient use of resources, improved functionality, and workplace trends

    Does your background seem like a fit?

     

    YOU NEED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Business
    • 5-8 years related experience
    • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Bonus/nice to have: experience with ARCHIBUS or other CAFM system
