The Information Services Department is seeking a Client Tech Specialist to work in the Prod-Control / Batch Scheduling department. Responsible to perform and coordinate all production and test application schedules and system functions for multiple platforms including (mainframe, open systems and LAN systems) via Control-M scheduling application. Review all production daily cycles to insure all criteria were met and to resolve any issues that are outstanding from the previous day’s schedule. Evaluate, test and make appropriate modifications to new and existing application schedules that are being added into the production environment. Insure all existing policies and procedures are adhered to. Coordinate the effort to implement new and upgrade scheduling packages that are either replacing or being added to our existing environment. Assure that all system resources are available to accommodate schedules across all platforms. The person must also be able to perform problem diagnosis using enterprise systems and network management products, escalating problems as defined by data center management policies.
