    The Medical Physics Computer Service team is seeking a Senior Application Developer with a strong background in big data platform and data pipeline design, implementation to join us in Midtown Manhattan, New York.

    We are building and scaling the big data platform that integrates all kinds of healthcare data and solutions to improve the standard of care in Radiation Oncology. You will be working closely with our physicians, clinical researchers, computer scientists, and a variety of software engineers in a highly visible role in our organization

    You will:

    • Design, implement and deploy the real-time and batched data pipeline to extract, transform and load (ETL) a variety of healthcare data.
    • Develop and scale the deep learning (DL) applications to bring the latest researches to the clinical usages.
    • Build pipeline to automate the work flow of radiation oncology and medical physics, improve the efficiency of our physicians and physicists on planning and delivering radiation therapy to the patient.
    • Apply the natural language processing (NLP) to explore the structured features from unstructured healthcare data.
    • Build serverless and microservice architectures to scale the applications on-premise cloud and public cloud.
    • Eager to learn and apply new technologies and ideas to benefit the entire organization.

    You have:

    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years experience OR Master degree with 1+ year experience
    • Strong skills in programming language (Go, Python, Java, Scala preferred).
    • Experiences in using open source frameworks and non-traditional data store (Spark, Flink, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, etc).
    • Experiences working in Agile development environment.
    • Good verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills.

    Nice to have:

    • Frontend experiences using popular JS frameworks (React, Angular, etc) and UI/UX design.
    • Knowledge in fundamental algorithms in machine learning and deep learning.
    • Understanding medical imaging tech stacks (DICOM, PACS, VNA).
    • Understanding Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)
    • Knowledge in healthcare data models
    • Experience in developing interface against major Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
