Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is one of the world’s premier cancer centers, committed to exceptional patient care, leading-edge research, and superb educational programs. We have built an outstanding team of hospitalists over the past 15 years, and we are continuing to grow. We currently have daytime and nocturnist positions available in the Hospital Medicine Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Our hospitalists are all internal medicine trained/boarded; no specific training in medical oncology is required. The primary focus is coverage of the inpatient medical service at Memorial Hospital, the main clinical site of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Both positions include opportunities to participate in teaching, quality improvement projects, research, and other academic opportunities in line with the individual’s strengths and passions.
Our ideal candidate will have: outstanding acute clinical skills; ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team; superior communication skills; and board certification/eligibility in internal medicine. There is excellent growth potential for a candidate who seeks a fulfilling career in academic hospital medicine. The nocturnist position is also appropriate for candidates seeking to fill a “gap year.”
