    Job Description

    Donor Relations is looking for a talented Senior Donor Recognition Liaison who works independently and in collaboration with colleagues on donor recognition projects, specifically naming opportunities. The Liaison will interface with various MSK departments and vendors to monitor and maintain inventory and facilitate production of plaques and other signage across 15 MSK locations. This person serves as Development’s primary point of contact regarding donor recognition projects.

    You will:

    • Interface with various departments such as Facilities, Design and Construction, Nurse Leaders, and various Hospital Administrators to stay abreast of new and existing construction projects and relocation of programs/specialties impacting the approved list of naming opportunities.
    • Work with Development colleagues and vendors to facilitate timely donor recognition. Manage the design, manufacture, and installation process of donor recognition signage.
    • Serve as primary point of contact for communication with institutional leaders, Department Chairpersons, Hospital Administration regarding donor recognition projects.
    • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address departmental issues that are relevant to the assigned project.
    • Under the guidance of the Associate Director, manage the daily operations of the naming opportunities inventory related to donor recognition by maintaining inventory of available and existing naming opportunities and documentation related to named spaces, programs, and other entities for multiple MSK sites. Keep historic records and make recommendations when necessary.

    You need:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of experience with donor recognition, specifically managing naming opportunities, maintaining inventory, and maneuvering with vendors and building administrators on design and installation needs at a high-volume non-profit philanthropic service environment.
    • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four years of job-related work experience can be accepted.
    • Proven track record of relationship building and management experience with internal and external constituents, such as Donors, Gift Officers, and Facilities and/or Building Management teams, at multiple work sites and locations.
    • Resourcefulness and excellent problem solving and written and verbal communication skills. Must be organized, detail oriented and a strategic thinker.
    • Comfortable with various technologies including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
