Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Library seeks to hire an Associate Librarian, Data Management Services. Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Library Services, this dynamic individual will provide comprehensive and customized data services in support of the Center’s research needs. In this newly created position, the candidate will be responsible for designing services and programs to support research data management and data literacy, as well as developing policies and procedures for data curation, sharing, and reuse. The incumbent will promulgate awareness of our resources and services among researchers and postdocs/students through outreach and liaison activities.
The Associate Librarian will participate in internal/external committees, activities, and special projects and maintain awareness of data-related initiatives across the sciences, attend professional meetings, workshops and conferences for training and professional development.
Work week: 37.5 hrs
Library Hours of Operation: 8:00am to 7:00pm, Monday – Friday
