    Job Description

    The role of the Part-time Door Attendant will assist patients, families, and visitors entering & exiting MSKCC 53rd Street. He/ She will project a positive image of the Center by demonstrating a courteous, caring, and professional manner.

     

    You Will:

    • Provide assistance to patients and visitors entering and exiting MSK buildings.
    • Identify, respond to, and attempt to resolve potential and actual concerns, problems, complaints and inquiries.
    • Assist the Security Department in providing a secure environment for the hospital staff and patients by observations, inquiry, and timely referral for the follow-up by Security Guards and Supervisors.
    • Respond to emergencies (e.g. fires, floods, bomb scares, power failures, toxic spills, weather) as outlined in the Emergency Preparedness Plan.

    You Have:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and continuously move around.
    • Ability to assist patients in and out of wheelchairs and vehicles.

    Work Hours:

    • Monday 10:00AM-6:00PM, Friday 2:00PM-6:00PM & Saturday 7:00AM-3:00PM.
