    Job Description

    The Josie Robertson Surgery Center (JRSC) is a first-of-its-kind freestanding outpatient and short-stay cancer surgery facility that delivers exceptional care and provides a superlative patient experience through the use of the latest in surgical technology, innovative care pathways and patient-facing communication tools. With careful patient selection, thorough patient education and engagement, and standardization of care in an environment of data-driven continuous improvement we are able to perform complex cancer surgeries that typically require inpatient hospitalization in the ambulatory setting with a single overnight stay.

    We are seeking a Project Coordinator for JRSC.

     

    You Will:

    • Partner with and support leadership team to coordinate, develop and implement initiatives relating to staff engagement, patient experience, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop methods appropriate to delivery of program content.
    • Manage the overall planning and operations of initiatives such as on-boarding, training, and staff development programs, including coordination of resources and presenters to ensure efficient and quality training sessions.
    • Coordinate initiatives to ensure that dates, times, rooms and equipment are arranged and details are communicated to participants.
    • Collaborate with, and gain consensus, of leadership and managers to continuously improve content and format.
    • Under leaderhip of the Senior Program Manager, ensure programs align and support JRSC’s Mission, individual, team, department, and organizational needs and goals.
    • Serve as a liaison to Human Resources Business Partners, Learning & Organizational Development and Operational Excellence teams to bring programs and resources to JRSC.
    • Consult and partner with leadership and teams to analyze complex issues and facilitate change to positively impact patient care, teams, and operations.
    • Prepare data reports, and analyze and assesses the quantitative and qualitative impact of initiatives against goals on an ongoing basis.
    • Define instructional, learning, or performance objectives.
    • Provide recommendations and feedback by communicating to appropriate leaders, teams, and committees, soliciting input as needed.

     

    You Have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred in addition to experience
    • Proven ability to manage projects with strict deadlines.
    • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong organizational, prioritization, time and project management skills.
    • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office products.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to make appropriate decisions in ambiguous situations.
    • Ability to solve problems by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
