    Job Description

    We are looking for an Office Practice Registered Nurse to join our peri-operative team. This nurse will join a dedicated team that is responsible for handling triage, work with Physicians during the procedure, pre-procedural education to the patient and family members, and participate in the clinic.     Position:

    Endoscopy Office Practice Registered Nurse.

    We are:

    Providers of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Oncology patients and families living with cancer in a healing and innovative environment.

    You will:

    • Work within an expanding Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model
    • Assume responsibility for the nursing management of patients in the GI consult service
    • Provide clinical support to staff members, and assist with medical management of ambulatory GI patients
    • Perform outpatient assessment and offer patient and family education
    • Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up

    You need:

    • New York State RN license and BSN
    • A minimum of 2 years of oncology experience preferred
    • Strong medicine/surgery assessment skills
    • Related ambulatory oncology experience
    • BCLS

    Hours:

    8am-6pm, Monday - Friday
