    Job Description

    Are you interested in learning about BMT/Lymphoma/ Leukemia/Hematology/Myeloma Oncology Nursing at MSK and how you can become part of our dynamic Hematologic Oncology Outpatient Clinical Care team? 

    Attend our Information Session and Interview Day on Tuesday, June 19th from 8:00am-11:00am in New York, NY. 

    During the event, you’ll have an opportunity to meet our BMT/Lymphoma/ Leukemia/Hematology/Myeloma Oncology Nursing team and learn about what it’s like to work in the department. The event will begin with the information and networking session, followed by individual interviews.

     

    Nursing at MSK: 

     

     

     

    As an Outpatient Office Practice Nurse at MSK, you will: 

    • Contribute to the advancement of evidence-based oncology care by advocating for patient safety, performing nursing assessments of patients, engaging in patient treatment and offering patient and family education
    • Work directly with patients throughout their entire cancer care continuum
    • Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team
    • Clinically monitor patients, assess and report patients’ symptoms, provide patient and family support and education
    • Work a 10-hour shift, (Monday-Friday,  8am- 6pm) without weekend rotation 

     

    You need: 

    • New York State RN license and BSN
    • At least 2 years of related clinical experience required
    • 1.5 -2 years of oncology experience strongly preferred
    • BCLS
    • Strong communication skills
