    Job Description

    The Project Coordinator, Pediatrics will support project management and department initiatives by assisting in the creation of project timelines and deliverables, track progress, maintain documentation, gather and analyze data and prepare project materials and presentations.  The Project Coordinator will also create materials to support education and assist with implementations of solution, workflow changes and system enhancements.

     

    You will:

    • Develop project plans and definite deliverables and resources required for successful execution.
    • Manage project workflows, Gantt charts and timelines to ensure deadlines and milestones are met. Follow-up timely on identified action items to meet deliverables
    • Serve as intermediary for internal and external contacts for project inquiries.
    • Schedule meetings set and circulate agenda and ensure meeting goals are identified.
    • Obtain, organize, analyze and communicate data necessary for fulfilling project needs.
    • Help to identify and assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
    • Investigate possible data sources (external and internal) for projects. Identify possible issues with the data sources, and makes recommendations on the usefulness of the data.
    • Ensure all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Write and/or edit various documents, reports and presentations (i.e., meeting and conference materials, minutes, divisional updates, project summaries, and newsletter articles) for assembly and dissemination to the appropriate parties.
    • Monitor financial activity related to assigned projects. Conduct variance analyses between budget and actual spending for specific projects.
    • Process financial transactions (reimbursements, ordering, etc) and maintains data to track related info.
    • Provide administrative support as needed.

    • Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
    • Proficient in Microsoft office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel

    You have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree plus 4-7 years’ experience in Project Management or administrative experience required, Master’s Degree plus 2-4 years’ experience preferred.
