Job Description

MSK is seeking a Radiology Systems Administrator to join our team.   As part of the Radiology Information Systems group, your position will have heavy client interfacing including significant interaction with physicians who rely heavily on medical imaging. Successful candidates are expected to have proven track record of providing a high-level of customer satisfaction. 

 

You Will:

 

  • Provide application support to end users for Radiology systems including but not limited to PACS, RIS, and Voice Recognition Dictation Systems
  • Diagnose, research and resolve daily Radiology Systems reported issues
  • Perform daily Systems Administration tasks to maintain the availability of Radiology systems
  • Utilize a ticketing system for issue tracking, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Participate in new implementations and application testing, documentation and upgrades of new and existing Radiology Systems 
  • Coordinate with vendors to provide application, database, and interface support
  • Be required to provide off-hours and holiday support on a rotating basis

You Need:

 

  • Bachelors Degree required and a minimum of 2 years of application support experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Experience with HL7, DICOM, Radiology specific experience and/or Radiology Healthcare Systems knowledge highly preferred (i.e. PACS, Voice Recognition, RIS etc)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports and CIIP certification preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and in a team setting
