Job Description

Clinical Nurses in the ICU implement the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and nursing.


You are:

  • An experienced Registered Nurse (RN). 
  • A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that maintain high standards of nursing care within the organization.
  • Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged.
  • Approachable – someone who is comfortable with diverse groups of people and able to make others comfortable with you.
  • An effective communicator.
  • Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

You Will:

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care within MSKCC's Intensive Care Unit. 

You Need:

  • Current NYS RN license.
  • 1-2 years of Medical/Surgical experience required. Critical care experience and national certification highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN).


Hours: 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 a.m., with weekend rotation required
