Job Description

Administrative Assistant, Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care Operating Room 


 You are:

You Will: 

  • Perform various clerical duties and administrative duties, including but not limited to: billing, word processing, data entry, scheduling, answering telephones and processing calls.
  • Answer assigned phone lines and direct calls; use correct telephone techniques and procedures when receiving and making calls; cross-cover other lines as assigned
  • Orient and facilitate all Rotators rotating through ORs
  • Assist and participate in special projects for the Anesthesiology Service, Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Ensure confidentiality for sensitive documents as per department and institution guidelines
  • You will work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals

You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree prefered 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize/multi-task, work independently and handle stressful situations and deadlines.
