Lead PA, Leadership/Management Opportunity-Josie Robertson Surgery Center
MSK is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant for a surgical leadership position.
The Physician Assistant (PA) Coordinator will oversee and manage the daily operations of the physician assistant staff in the Operating Rooms at the Josie Robertson Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center specializing in cancer care. The Coordinator will foster a work environment that promotes collaboration, excellence in clinical practice, and optimal team functioning. The PA Coordinator will also spend a portion of their time clinically, functioning as a first assistant in the 12 ORs at the JRSC.
The PA Coordinator will work closely with physicians, APPs, anesthesia staff and nurses to ensure patient care and operational needs are being achieved in a successful and innovative manner. The PA Coordinator will be responsible for the clinical, educational and administrative management of PAs at JRSC.
The position requires a minimum of five years experience with proven administrative/leadership skills and a minimum of 3 years of OR experience as a first assistant. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited PA Program, NCCPA board certified, have a registered NYS license and DEA certificate.
Hours: Full time days, flexed according to operational needs. #LI-TA1
