Job Description

The Charge Capture QA Coordinator in Radiation Oncology is responsible to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all patient charges posted in Radiation Oncology and Medical Physics.

You Will:

  • Perform daily review of reports, which detail charges, and errors.
  • Communicate with all levels of staff to confirm scheduled appointments and charges.
  • Submit charges to Patient Accounts and Physician Billing Department.
  • Review, Monitor and update schedules and charges for all sites.
  • Work: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

You have:

  • Bachelor Degree or Medical Coding experience, preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills to effectively participate in problem identification and resolution. 
  • Intermediate budget preparation and budget analysis skills needed to ensure comprehensive management of divisional budgets, expenditure and related activity.
  • Computer skills including advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and data base applications
