    Job Description

    MSK has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team in Development. The Development team are focussed on fundraising for MSK and so the the Business Analyst has a key role in supporting those users within the division by analyzing and advancing our CRM system functionality and other software applications serving MSK Development. They will work closely with users, management, Development Technology and Operations staff, and our vendor partners to seek out and implement best practices and improvements to current processes across Development.

     

    You Will:

    • Analyze the expressed business needs of application users and propose solutions to respond to those needs
    • Assess current work flows and functionality, identify opportunities for improvement, and work with all parties to implement enhancements
    • Determine business requirements for system enhancements and customizations. Ensure clarity of expressed needs with users and developers for the requested outcome
    • Test and validate system functionality for customizations and application upgrades
    • Provide users with advanced application and business process support
    • Identify opportunities for data hygiene improvement within Blackbaud CRM, and engage in data integrity projects

    You Are:

    • Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
    • A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
    • Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information
    • Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
    • Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational
    • Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals
    • An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding
    • Resilient in recovering from setbacks and skilled at finding detours around obstacles
    • Able to operate effectively, even when things are not clear or the way forward is not obvious
    • Adept at learning quickly, applying insights from past efforts to new situations

    You Need:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 2-4 years experience
    • Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus
