Job Description

We Are:


The Talent Acquisition Group at MSK develops strategic hiring initiatives to support MSK’s business needs. In an organizational growth mode, we use data and market insights to partner with internal clients to recruit exceptional talent to join their team. Our group is composed of professionals dedicated to talent sourcing, recruitment, marketing, data analysis and candidate onboarding. We are seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to join our team. 

 

You Are:

  • A “player-coach” who enjoys hands-on strategic recruiting , developing teams and creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best 
  • Successful at building effective teams allowing members to apply their diverse skills and perspectives, and eager to foster talent and support their career goals
  • Capable of building strong hiring manager relationships and delivering talent insights and strategic sourcing solutions 
  • Flexible in your approach and able to maneuver through complex process and people-related organizational dynamics with the ability to gain support and commitment from others by engaging them around your point of view and priorities
  • Data-Driven and adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.


You Will:

  • Manage and oversee the functions, activities and a team of Recruiters/Talent Acquisition Specialists for a part of the MSK Talent Acquisition Group (TAG) with a focus on staff development and mentorship 
  • Execute recruitment for complex professional and management level roles, which may include executive, highly technical or specialized or cross-functional positions. 
  • Develop recruitment, sourcing and pipelining strategies to ensure we are meeting MSK’s talent needs 
  • Develop and implement cost effective recruitment strategies for assigned departments using metrics and trend analysis to determine best applicant sources (i.e. web advertising, print advertising, career fairs, associations, etc.) and maintain appropriate applicant flow.

 

You Need:

  • 4-7 years of strategic recruiting experience and a Bachelor’s degree (Or 10+ years recruiting experience in place of a bachelor’s degree)
  • 2+ years of Supervisory/Management experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop and manage staff 
  • Executive presence, with good judgment, maturity, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to cultivate and manage effective relationships with a wide range of individuals across the organization
