When you join us as a The Physician Office Assistant to the Service Chief you will manage and maintain a practice for one of The Department of Neurology's designated Service Chiefs; and function as the primary contact for patients; handle heavy telephone volume, ensuring that callers are assisted in a timely, efficient and courteous manner; schedule patients’ tests, appointments, and procedures; update and maintain electronic medical records; coordinate with clinical and administrative staff; create letters and submit necessary paperwork for patients, physicians, and payers.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
In order to be considered for the Physician Office Assistant position, you will be required to pass an online Administrative Assessment. When applying to this position, you will be prompted to take the assessment. It takes about 45 minutes to complete.
