Job Description

The Immunogenomics and Precision Oncology Platform (IPOP) is a newly established program at MSK. IPOP is dedicated to developing precision immunotherapy at MSK.  The program's goal is to use state-of-the-art approaches to unravel the molecular determinants of response to immunotherapy and to optimize immunotherapeutics such as immune checkpoint inhibitors and neoantigen-based vaccines using large scale analyses.

We are looking for a person to fill a position as a Software Engineer to help develop web-based portals that allow the broader medical community access to the data being generated at IPOP. The position will involve coordinating with other bioinformatics engineers and software developers at IPOP as well as working with developers at the center of molecular oncology to help broaden the scope of existing portals at MKSCC ( to include features relevant to immunotherapy. This will require the development of novel visualizations for immunotherapy related data, especially data related to T-cell sequencing. The successful candidate will have a strong programming background and analytic skills as well as be comfortable communicating with other developers, scientists, and physicians. In addition to software development, there will also be opportunities to work on scientific projects ongoing in IPOP.
