Job Description

The Community Outreach Research Coordinator coordinates activities for the Taxi Network, a large and growing community based participatory research project. This position will work with the Service faculty and staff on recruitment of sites, staffing and scheduling for health fairs and other events, data collection, client follow up, reporting, and general project coordination. He/she will also work on special projects as requested by the Service Chief and Program Director.

You need:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years or more years experience involving coordination.
  • Must have community based outreach/research experience.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills and ability to write clearly and concisely for varied audiences.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and editorial skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to perform routine and some moderately difficult tasks without direct supervision.

Hours:  Monday-Friday (9 am to 5 pm -flexibility to work certain evenings required)
